Cured In Place Pipe Installation Process

 

 

1. Video Inspection: We perform a video inspection of the problem plumbing system and determine materials needed and epoxy resin formula.

 

2. Pipe Preparation: The pipe is cleaned out to create a smooth surface for the new liner. Old rebar, concrete chunks, roots and other material is removed using hydro jetting and circular cutters.

 

3. Pipe Liner Installation: The liner is impregnated with the custom epoxy resin mixture and inserted into the damaged section of pipe. Using pressure we inflate a balloon like device inside the liner and the pipe liner is pressed against the old pipe to create the new seamless pipe.

 

4. Curing: Three hours is allowed for curing of the newly relined pipe. After 3 hours a final inspection is performed and the pipe is put back in service.

Question: Is it possible to repair our water lateral in our condo? We are trying to prevent damaging the flooring and foundation in the condo, but 3 plumbers all said replacement is only option. Question: We had a local plumber come out and they inspected the sewer line and found a large tree root growing right thru the pipe. They said we needed to replace the pipe and possibly remove the tree. We don't want to have our yard destroyed and the tree removed and wondered if we could get the pipe repaired using your pipe lining process?

 

Answer: Yes, we can repair the pipe and prevent the tree from being cut down. We have tools that can cut the root growth out of the pipe. Once the new pipe liner is installed, the pipe will be completely root resistant. The tree will just grow roots around the pipe.
