Question: Can you repair a sewer line that connects to the city sewer system or do we need to replace the sewer pipe? We have major clogging problems, and the sewer line was inspected by video and we were told it had to be replaced? Problem: Clogged sewer lines in multiple units.
Location: Clearwater, Florida – Pinellas County

 

Our dispatch received a call for a clogged sewer system at a large shopping center in Clearwater. We came out and inspected the sewer pipe, and found that the main sewer pipe was cracked and was causing waste to build up and cause complete blockage. A pipelining job was in order for this commercial customer due to the pipe location and the owner did not want any digging or mess and didn't want to interrupt business. We began the steps to perform the pipelining job which started with our sewer video inspection. Our pipe liner tech calculated the formula and then prepared the resin blend and poured it in the liner. The liner was then compressed and inverted in to the sewer pipeline. We then adjusted the air pressure to force inflate and cure the pipe liner. After this was complete we did a final inspection and certified the job as complete.
