Type: Commercial Pipe Lining Project

Problem: Sinkhole and water damage to parking lot.
Location: Jacksonville, Florida – Duval County

 

Commercial client called due to a sinkhole that formed in a parking lot to one of their grocery stores. We sent out a pipe lining specialist to assess the situation. Upon arrival it was obvious that a pipe had caused the parking lot to collapse. We performed a CCTV inspection to locate any other damage and found severe corrosion and root invasion on signifigant portions of the drain pipe. We were able to repair the damaged pipe with a CIPP solution to reduce further excavation to the parking lot and sidewalks around the entrance to the building. The pipe rehabilitation was completed without the need to destroy or remove the ground. The entire project was done underground by an entry point in the pipe at a shallow point.
