Once the liner is ready for installation and the pipe has been cleaned / jetted, the liner is installed through a manhole, cleanout or small hole that is out of site. When the liner is in the correct place, a balloon like device is inflated inside the liner and it expands, allowing the liner to bond to the damaged old pipe. The liner is than left to cure / dry for 3 hours. After curing, we perform a final inspection and if successful water or sewer service is enabled.

Type: Trenchless Sewer Pipe Lining Repair for Restaurant

Problem: Restaurant having recurring sewer problems.
Location: Tamiami, Florida – Miami-Dade County

 

Restaurant called with emergency plumbing problem. No toilets are able to flush and dishwasher and sinks are overflowing. We dispatched a plumber to check for a blockage in the sewer line. When our plumber arrived shortly after the call came in, he performed a CCTV video inspection of the entire drain/sewer pipes and found the problem almost immediately. Almost 10 feet of the sewer pipe was corroded and root and soil was filling most of the pipe. The restaurant owner decided to use trenchless pipe lining, due to the location of the damage, which would have required closing the restaurant for a couple days for repairs if the dining room and kitchen area had to be excavated to access the pipe.
